In this project, we removed mold that had developed on the balcony due to the apartment’s usage conditions. The apartment consistently had high humidity levels, and the residents regularly opened the doors to the balcony but did not open the windows on the balcony itself.
As a result, humid air accumulated on the balcony and condensed on the walls, which lacked sufficient thermal insulation. This led to continuous condensation and, consequently, the active growth of mold.
Our team carried out a comprehensive mold removal, treated the affected surfaces with antifungal solutions, and applied protective coatings to prevent mold from reappearing. To eliminate further condensation and mold formation, we recommended that the residents adjust their ventilation routine to ensure a proper flow of fresh air onto the balcony.
