In this project, we removed mold that had appeared on the wall of a residential room, forming on top of wallpaper intended for painting. The mold growth in this area was highly unusual, raising suspicions of potential structural defects in the building.
We assumed that the issue might have been caused by damage to the building panel, allowing cold air and moisture to penetrate through the wall. This assumption was confirmed after a thermal imaging inspection, which revealed thermal anomalies and areas of increased humidity.
Our team removed the mold, thoroughly cleaned the affected surface, and treated it with specialized antifungal solutions and protective coatings. To prevent mold from reappearing, we recommended that the client repair the identified panel defects, improve thermal and waterproofing insulation, and ensure effective ventilation in the apartment.
